The place of neoadjuvant chemotherapy in a complex treatment of patients with breast cancer

Summary. Morbidity and Mortality from Breast Cancer in Ukraine and remote results of treatment of 6001 patients of breast cancer, which passed treatment in department of breast cancer and its reconstruction surgery of the National cancer institute are analyzed for 20 years. The role and the place of neoadjuvant chemotherapy are identified in a complex treatment of patients with breast cancer. The evolution of surgical methods of treatment of patients with breast cancer has submitted. Modern principles of complex treatment of patients with breast cancer are described. Five–year survival of women with the breast cancer is shown depending on stages according to data of National cancer institute.
