Optimization of the surgical treatment of colon cancer obstruction

Summary. Retrospective analyses of 287 patients with acute colonic ileuses treatment were implemented. Patients were treated in esophago-gastro-intestinal department. The medical records of 93 patients with right colonic ileuses and 194 with left colonic ileuses aged from 32 to 81 years (median 59.8 ± 8.3) from 1990 to 2007 were reviewed. The complex program of treatment was proposed and implemented, including pathogenic based approach in choice of treatment method. Due to complex of technical manures the possibilities for primary radical and primary reconstructive operations, obvious improvement of the results of treatment and quality of life are opened.
