Clinical features of borderline ovarian tumors and estimation of results of patients’ treatment

Summary. In our research have been carried out treatment-integrated analysis of 82 patients with borderline ovarian tumors (BOT). Our results indicate a favorable clinical progression for a disease in BOT patients, with the initial tumor process. Analysis of reproductive function in patients after preserving surgery treatment was showed that 95.3% of these patients had preserved the menstrual function. Preserving treatment in patients with borderline ovarian tumors has allowed not adversely affected on long-term results of treatment in BOT patients. That was confirmed with indicators 5th and 10th year survival.
