Intra-arterial transtemporal chemotherapy in complex treatment of the mouth floor and tongue cancer. A new methodology approach

Summary. This article presents a new methodological approach to superselective catheterization of the lingual artery, the technique of superselective intra-arterial chemotherapy in patients with locally advanced cancer of the tongue and floor of the mouth was described in details. Main stages of the catheterization execution, features of chemotherapy were showed. The advantages of this method are demonstrated.
