Recurrence of borderline ovarian tumors

Summary. The analysis of treatment result of 106 patients with borderline ovarian tumors has been performed. These results demonstrate a favorable clinical course in patients with stage I. Ovarian tumors recurrence occurred in the different period (from 1 to 12 years) after surgical treatment. It has been proved that sonography along with CA 125 marker determination in the blood serum is a reliable method for diagnosis of recurrence of borderline ovarian tumors.
