Comparative characteristics of cancer and tumor-like neoplasm of the larynx on videoendoscopy

Summary. It was examined 130 patients with tumors of the la­rynx. Histological examination of the tumor tissue of the larynx was done. The first group included 102 patients with cancer of the larynx (T1–3N0M0). The second group included 28 patients with benign tumors of the larynx. A comparative study of signs of laryngeal tumors is done. It was found that the most of any laryngeal tumors located in the anterior part of the larynx. For cancer of the larynx is cha­racteristic deterioration of mobility, exophytic form of growth in the first stage and mixed form in the third stage. Benign laryngeal lesions characteristic of limited location without reducing its mobility.
