Induction chemotherapy in treatment of oral cancer patients in view of immunohistochemical factorsSummary. The treatment of patients with squamous cell oral cancer II–IV stages using induction chemotherapy and radiotherapy with dose 60 Gy. 68 patients of the first group received chemotherapy TPF regimen, 75 patients of the second group — PF. A comparison of short-term and long-term results of combined and complex treatment was provided depending on the selected chemotherapy regimens. Hematological toxicity of conducted chemoradiotherapy and its impact on the quality of life of patients was analyzed. Immunohistochemical studies with determination of β-tubulin and τ-protein expression levels were conducted. The prognostic value of these immunohistochemical markers on the results of oral cancer patients treatment with taxanes was established.
