Primary mediastinal large B-cell lymphoma. The role of positron emission tomography

Summary. This review reflects the prospects and problems of positron emission tomography/computed tomography in the treatment of patients with primary mediastinal B-cell lymphoma. The evidence of the clinical utility of this imaging technique is presented here that could potentially change the treatment strategy and impact on the treatments outcome, as well as the existing problems related to the data interpretation.
