Magnetothermia of malignant tumors

Summary. This paper reported a review of literature and own research on the therapeutic technology of magnetothermia dealing with application of non-ionizing electromagnetic radiation for non-invasive deep moderate (up to 40 °C) hyperthermia of malignant tumors. The present medico-physical, biological and clinical aspects of magnetothermia of malignant tumors are considered. Combined chemo- and/or radiotherapy and magnetothermia showed an increase in treatment effectiveness of cancer patients and not accompanied by the development of complications that significantly affect overall patient condition.
