The review focuses on current data on genetic lesions and traits that serve as the basis for the diagnosis of diffuse large B-cell lymphoma, not otherwise specified (DLBCL NOS), primary mediastinal (thymic) large B-cell lymphoma (PMBL) and high-grade B-cell lymphoma (HGBL). These lymphomas, which are included in the group of mature neoplasms from large B cells, are characterized by both general and specific properties, the ratio of which serves as diagnostic criteria.
